I made it! Phew!

The autumn (a.k.a a knitters crazy-pants-busy-ass time of year) has been in full swing again. I exhibited at MADE LONDON, and MADE13 in Brighton again, (I seriously doubted whether I would make it as far as setting up my stand at some points this year, as was in-between getting lots of new and exciting wholesale orders dispatched to shops, oh and of course still teaching three days a week…!) I met some great new customers, potential stockists, and other fantastic and inspiring designer/makers, (indulging in my favourite pastime of designer swapsies…) & generally had a ball! Here’s my high-lights below. Enjoy xx

New month & new happenings here at Knit HQ

Since taking part in Pulse tradeshow for the first time in May earlier this year there has been lots of new and exciting happenings here at Knit HQ, which I haven’t always had the time to share here on the blog.

I have gained many new and exciting high quality stockists both here in the UK, and internationally including Luna & CuriousTinsmiths, and the beautiful Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh to name but a few. Sending out parcels of wholesale orders to new stockists, has to be one of the best feelings in the world.

I have had some lovely press including my geometric merino cushion covers being featured in a lovely autumnal editorial photoshoot for this months Country Living magazine:

Some lovely blog features including one from Australian design blog “Meet me at Mikes‘ which has lead to a new Australian stockist in the pipeline…

All in all things seem to be moving forward brilliantly, and I couldn’t be happier with my progress over the last few months. Looking forward to seeing what the lead-up to Christmas will bring… xx

Shiny & new stockists!

I’m pleased to announce that I have two new & shiny stockists, for my geometric merino cot & pram blankets, which is very exciting!

First up is Archies Boutique, run by the very lovely Sarah Archard. I met Sarah through my weaving friend Holly Berry at MADE LONDON last year. In her own words Archies Boutique is: ‘An online baby boutique, selling a wonderful collection of design-led clothes, toys and accessories for little ones.’ I’m thrilled Sarah wants my blankets as part of her fantastic hand-selected community of designers.

Second up is the equally lovely Luna & Curious an exquisite boutique in the heart of East London, whose Rheanna Lingham I met at Pulse this year. ‘Luna & Curious is owned and run by designers Kaoru Parry, Polly George and Rheanna Lingham.  The trio are passionate about great British design and are proud to support a large number of new designers by showcasing their work at Luna & Curious.’ Again I am honored to have been selected to showcase my work in their beautiful shop, with their fantastic mix of contemporary designers.

The blankets also now have new & beautiful illustrated greetings card to go with each one, drawn by my lovely & talented friend Sarah Dyer. See below for new pictures of my blankets, and the gorgeous cards.

I hope this will be a roaring success, for both me & the stockists! Good luck little blankets – go & make your own way in the world with lovely new owners! xx
